The average price of an apartment in the eurozone rose by 1.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014 compared to the same period a year earlier. That statistic agency Eurostat reported Wednesday.
Of the countries which separate statistics are available, Ireland had the strongest year on year rise in house prices, more than 16 percent, followed by Malta with 11 percent. In Slovenia, prices fell the most, by 4.4 percent. In the Netherlands, housing 2 percent.
