Eurostat data Eurostat published the results of a comparison of price levels for more than 2400 products and services for household consumption in 37 European countries. Information about price levels are the result of several surveys carried out in the framework of the European project comparing prices and gross domestic product (European Comparison Programme). The study involved 28 EU Member States, three EFTA countries (Iceland, Norway and Switzerland), four candidate countries for EU membership (Montenegro, pfadanalyse Macedonia, Serbia pfadanalyse and Turkey) and potential candidates pfadanalyse for EU membership (Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina) .
By comparing the ratios of prices between countries and exchange rates to the euro, the index calculates the price level. These allow the comparison of price levels in the countries compared to the average price level in the EU-28th If the value of the index for each country is higher than 100 it means that the price level in the country is higher than the average level of prices in the EU-28, therefore the country more expensive. If the value of the index for each country is less than 100, but the price level in the country is lower than the average in the EU-28, so the country pfadanalyse is cheaper.
The comparison pfadanalyse of price levels and gross domestic product shows that the level of prices of goods and services which are the subject of final consumption of households in Slovenia in 2013 amounted to 83% of the EU-28th
