“We need more such industrial yard house prices areas to attract more foreign investments into the country, and Sendayan TechValley has contributed a lot to this,” he told reporters after visiting the Messier-Bugatti Dowty (M) Sdn Bhd and Akashi Kikai (M) Sdn Bhd plants at the Sendayan high-technology industrial park here Saturday.
Five foreign companies have invested RM1.23 billion in the 400-hectare park, and Mustapa expressed confidence that its 72 hectares of vacant land will be taken up soon with its proximity to the KuaLa Lumpur International Airport and Port Klang as well as good road links.
“Besides Japan and European countries, especially Germany, the government is eyeing investors from China, where many Malaysian companies have invested, while US investments in our country have been on the rise lately.
With the Messier-Bugatti plant producing aircraft carbon brakes and parts, Malaysia Airlines will no longer need to send its planes to Kentucky or Leon, France to have their brakes repaired, he said.
